My spikes won't come out! What now?

I have tried with the thing my shoes came with, and with pliers, and I still can't get them out! I have gotten all but 2 out. One on the left, and one on the right, both under my big toe. I am not doing track anymore, and I have misplaced my Nikes, so I would just like to run in these. I have tried running around on asphalt to strip them out, but they won't budge! I wouldn't really have a problem, but I walk/run my dog EVERY day so I am worried I am gonna step on him and poke a hole in him. Please help!

How bothered would you be about your (future) children's friends?

as my son is only four (and a half) at the moment, i would say i am very involved in his friendships (which are mainly with cousins and the children of our friends). as he develops, i would hope i would give him plenty of space to choose his own friends (and, i am sure he will, he is already quite vocal about his preferences), all the time keeping a quiet eye, making sure he's okay, being there for him should i be needed and/or wanted. the hope, at the end of the day, is that we will be bringing him up well so that he can make good choices and have some discernment when it comes to the character and intentions of others. it is a worry though... i know in our family, we were several children and some of us got into trouble with the 'wrong' crowd whilst others didn't - same set of parents and, allegedly, the same parenting style. mindfulness required methinks :)

Can I stop paying into my escrow account on a 30 year fixed mortgage?

The bank sent me a letter the other day saying they were adjusting my escrow payment, which in turn will increase my total mortgage payment by about 17%. When Can Puppies Start To Eat Canned Puppy Chow?

I recently bought a rottweiler puppy from a breeder, and she is AKC registered, a beautiful purebred puppy. Anyways, I wanted to give her a better choice of food, because right now she is eating Purina Puppy Chow, and I was going to add Purina ONE canned dog food for all ages into that, so she has better meals. OK, so she is a little over weight, the breeder over fed the puppies. I'm exercising her multiple times each day, and taking her on long 20 minute walks around the whole block for her to go potty, and so she can burn energy and calories. I truly love my beautiful puppy, and so far she has been sleeping with me in my bed at night. I just want to give her a better balanced meal. She is 11 weeks of age currently, and on February 11, she will be 12 weeks of age. Is she eligible to eat canned dog food now? Or when should I start to mix canned dog food into her dry puppy chow?
