Duran: "I am not God but I am something similar", was this the most arrogant statement in boxing history?

I understand why Duran despises Ray Leonard, not everyone likes everyone else and Ray was in fact one of the most arrogant fighters in history, Ray's treatment of Duran, Hagler, Hearns, Pryor and even Camacho still has feathers ruffled 30 years later. The crack about being similar to God was a lot less arrogant than a lot of the stuff Leonard used to do, but that said, it was out of line and Duran shouldn't have said it.
