AT&T will take a $1 billion charge due to the health care bill. What does that mean to me as a shareholder?

The charge is really a whopper, a lot higher than the other charges that other companies have taken. Of course Ford has yet to announce their charge nor IBM I do not believe. I suspect that the stock will suffer some from this. They must have a boat load of retirees.
