Odd dream, any interpretations?

I've recently had this strange, frightening dream. I'm in a completely white dental office. I walk about in this hall and when I look up I see a flight or stairs that turns to make a square, when I look at this, I recognize it, and I remember I saw it at the juvenile court when I had a trial last summer. But there is no way to get to the stairs. Beyond the stairs is a blinding light source that you cannot reach. In the hall way are about 5 rooms. The hall way turns four times to form a square as well. In one room it is empty and when you look out the window it is sunny and it is spring. In other room there is a man sitting in a dental chair with no dentist, he is screaming and moaning loudly and you can hear this throughout the hall. You cannot get to the man though. In another room there is someone I know and they say something when you p them but I cannot get to them. All the other rooms are eerily empty with only the sound of the main in pain. What does this eerie dream mean?
