Ughh I just found a maggot in my pasta... :'(?

OMG I was eating pasta and I used this jar of tomato pasta sauce which i brought earlier today and I felt something soo hard and bumpy and scaly in my mouth and it was a huge maggot.. It felt like I was biting my finger!!!!!!!!! I've puked 3 times. Could this make me ill? My sister also had some of the pasta and now she is complaining of a stomach ache and my stomach has a few pains too. Uh, It was the grosses thing ever, mainly because I could feel it running around in my mouth and when I took it out it was still alive and then died a few seconds later cause I bit it. I'm sooooooooooooo scared. And how comes it had maggots even though I brought it today and it doesn't expire til late 2010
