What are the most noticed environmental issues that are increasingly shortening the Earth's lifespan?

The Earth, while supporting life, is not itself a living thing, so it doesn't have a lifespan, but the environment on Earth that does support life is being negatively affected by the manipulative actions of Sapiens. More than any other factor, it's our human desire to make things be more like we'd want them to be than how they actually are that damages our planets ability to support life.
