The Mongolian Blue Spot Birthmark?

Both Me and My Babys Dad are white Yet Our Baby has these Birthmarks? Not That I mind I think Theyre very sweet! Hes 8 Months old now and They are still here, Is there anyone else with any knowledge of 2 caucasian People having a child with these marks? and Will they be Permenant? Thanks In advance
