Taking care of urself beauty issues?

im 15 and living in England and my bf is coming down from Liverpool to stay with me and i want to look less...spotty and less cared for? im a tomboy with low self esteem and i think taking care of myself will help me and i kinda wanna look nice cuz i rarely see him due to age and distance! and seeing as im new to this (and too poor for beauty salon prices! obviously!) whats the best products/quick and painless regimes? please and thankyou!
