Have a family session with your therapist. I'm glad you did go to see one, despite what your mother says. I have depression as well, and see a therapist. And think that some people don't believe it is a disease, or a real problem, because you can't really physically SEE the disease, like on an x-ray, or through a blood test. I hope you can get some medicine, which sometimes it's trial and error, on getting on the right one and dosage. Which also is another reason why I think people don't believe depression is real, since it's trial and error.

If you want to have the look of a more defined muscle then you should lift heavier weight and less reps. If you want to tone then you use lower wts and more reps. As far as bulking up it takes quite a long time to get really bulky. At your age 13 you are still growing so I think in a couple years you will bulk up naturally. Just give it time. swimming and and any activity or sport is good. It is more important to eat a balanced diet so your body can have the proper nutrition to develop muscle later on. Eat lots of protein complex carbs and fresh fruits and vegtables. good luck.

The "grade D food" happens here at home. ;p I just wrangled most of the veggie leftovers from my fridge into a quiche. It's actually quite good! Sounds like you have a stressful life going. Well first of all, if your parents won't help you with depression (which stress can cause alot of people's health issues these days) then talk to a couselor at your school or next doctor's visit you have...go in alone and talk with your doctor about what's going on. Your doctor shouldn't have any problem with talking to you and your parents and getting the help you and them both need. Don't worry about being negative or feeling negative...it's an every day thing with many MANY people. One thing that helps me is I keep telling myself (if no one listens) is that you need to live your life as positive as you can. Don't let you or others around you bring you down mentally. And if no one wants to believe you...hell...get a journal. Write down what's bugging you. If anything, talk to your sister. I'm pretty sure that she'll be there for you. And do the same for her..there's probably alot that is going on for her as well that no one wants to help or listen to. Besides, what if something bad happened to your parents? Your sister is the only person close enough that's going to be there for you and vise versa! ;) GL to you both and your parents :) and I hope I helped a little :)

My husband pays a certain amount out of his check each week toward disability. He tore his ACL as a kid and had knee surgery in high school. He needs another surgery within a year or so. I have fed my dog many gs before, but they were all cut in half so he wouldn't choke. Most people say that you shouldn't feed to gs to small dogs especially, but I have a tiny dog. He has eaten little bits of chocoalte that he has gotten into before and he is perfectly fine. I don't see the problem with feeden a dog gs, maybe just peel the skin off and cut them in half. Probably be wise not to feed her too many. But I think you should consult your vet before you feed her anymore if you are that concerned. It wasn't a problem for me or my friends dogs. But there is a possibility. I would still ask a vet. My dad owns a dog business and he doesn't see anything wrong with feeding dogs gs. But just in case, peel the skin off. Or if you are really concerned, then just stop feeding her gs and start feeding her some kind of treat. If you give her more of one other specific thing and not grpaes. She might forget about grapes altogether!

I've recently had this strange, frightening dream. I'm in a completely white dental office. I walk about in this hall and when I look up I see a flight or stairs that turns to make a square, when I look at this, I recognize it, and I remember I saw it at the juvenile court when I had a trial last summer. But there is no way to get to the stairs. Beyond the stairs is a blinding light source that you cannot reach. In the hall way are about 5 rooms. The hall way turns four times to form a square as well. In one room it is empty and when you look out the window it is sunny and it is spring. In other room there is a man sitting in a dental chair with no dentist, he is screaming and moaning loudly and you can hear this throughout the hall. You cannot get to the man though. In another room there is someone I know and they say something when you p them but I cannot get to them. All the other rooms are eerily empty with only the sound of the main in pain. What does this eerie dream mean?

Should I expect my wife to help with bills if she starts to work?

My stay at home wife and mother of our two sons has informed me she wants to look for a part time job so that she help me with the things I usually pay for related to her personal care, clothing, etc. Is she really helping me if all of the money is being spent on her? I told her I would have been more content if she had stated that half the money earned would go towards paying some of the utility bills and the rest she could spend it on what ever she wanted. My doctor said my baby was measuring small when they did the ultrasound...?

I found out last Friday that I am 5 wks pregnant. I had some concerns (long story) so I went to my OB/GYN to make sure everything was going well. She did an ultrasound and said the baby is measuring very small for how far along that I am. She said that even though it is very early in my pregnancy, the baby should be bigger than this. They could barely see anything on the screen...she had to dig to find it. She even checked for ectopic pregnancy. She ordered bloodwork for me to have yesterday to check my hormone levels and for me to go back tomorrow to see if the hormone levels have doubled. Has this happened to anyone else? Neighbors smoking in out duplex and it's coming through our heaters?

I am 5 months pregnant and have a 18 month old, we moved here 2 months ago and have noticed that the neighbors cigarette smoke is coming through our heaters. Ultrasound of my liver came back slightly abnormal?

Would I enjoy studying political theory if I find political science boring?

I've taken american politics and comparative poltics and found both cles to be pretty boring. I couldn't care less about the political differences between parties and how they fued between each other. However I did taken an ancient and modern philosophy cl that had a number of philosophers who wrote about how governments should be set up, ran, and even dismantled. I read a number of theories about how the average citizen should live in order to help the greater good and all these different types of systems. Some of my favourites books have always been fictional stories about dystopian societies such as 1984 and The Iron Heel. I've never taken a political theory cl, but would I enjoy it? I'm asking this because I would hate to take a political theory course only to see it just talks about what I've already learned. I find studying foreign policy of the US very dull, but I would think that studying the theory behind it such as why that policy was created in the first place or even what could happen if it was different to be much more interesting.

Ok, I am a little concerned about my 3 1/2 year old son. He seems to me, to be a little mean. Im not sure if its normal behavior or what. You've probably got plenty of saves, so I don't see how dropping Accardo or Capps would be a bad idea. Capps is on a pretty bad team, but does usually pitch well when he does get the chance. So i'm trying out for quarterback for my highschool. Last year I tore my ACL and obviously couldn't play. Now I'm going to be a sopre and I'm trying out. So we have had 2 days of practice. I don't know anything out of the playbook while the other 4 quarterbacks do because they have played before. I was a quarterback before this for a town team and had mastered that offense... but the highschool uses a completely different offense. Now... becuase I don't know the plays at all or anything I basically watch what the quarterbacks do that go before me and try to do that. But obviously my footwork is totally off because I have no experience with these plays and sometimes I miss the hand off. The coach started saying things like "Tough day at the office"... and (while smiling) "This is guna be tough for the new kid".. Now i'm trying. It's only been two days at practice. He released part of the playbook.. but not the actual plays. I have read that... but can't get it down without experience. I feel so dumb when I make a mistake and all the kids laugh and the coach says "tough day at the office" or something. I didn't play last year and this is all new to me. What do i do? Is this fair?

How do I get dumpster moved?

I live in an apartment where the parking lot is long and narrow. I have the very back spot. In the other corner in the back of the lot (in front of my car) is where the dumpster goes. I guess someone new is removing the trash and the dumpster hasn't been put back where it is supposed to go and it is too big and heavy to move. Most likely this is a condition known as acne comedonica, where the sebaceous glands under the pores get clogged, and all the gunk is trapped under the skin, which is why it's the same color as the rest of your skin. It's somewhat difficult to treat this, but what I have found that apparently works is using a homemade aspirin mask--you buy regular, uncoated white aspirin tablets, and dissolve them in a SMALL amount of water so you have a paste, which you rub on your skin. Let it sit for about five minutes, then rinse off. Use it about once or twice a week---you'll be floored by how well it works, both physically and chemically(it contains acetylsalicylic acid, which is basically a cousin of our friend salicylic acid). Also, you should use a daily skin moisturizer with 2% salicylic acid, which helps keep anything that could clog your pores off. You might also tell your mom that a dermatologist can PROFESSIONALLY extract them. You can use benzoyl peroxide stuff on them (use the 10% concentration or less), but it won't do a whole lot except make them a little smaller. This is due to the clogging being underneath the skin---the benzoyl peroxide kills bacteria and dries up oil, but with comedones, the medicine can't even get in, since the clogging is in the sebaceous gland, which is below the pore itself. Lastly, if you go to a dermatologist, you can get a glycolic acid cream, since it does the same thing as salicylic acid, but it's a little stronger, so it s deeper.

All of the above are good. You are on the right path. Compost is your best bet. Compost tea works very well once a week only. A cup between the plants.Fish emulsion is a great feed. I use it all the time. In particular when I transplant. One cap full per gallon of water. When I plant bedding plants, I dig the hole, pour the fish emulsion mixture in the hole about half full. then put the plant in and fill the hole with dirt. Pour more emulsion mixture on top to get rid of the air in the ground. If you are using compost you probably will not have to add fertilizer. Compost is a simple form of fertilizer. One that gives your plants food all the time. More people kill with fertilizer and too much water. I have never used guano tho I know what it is. But how high are the nutrients. Too much nitrogen which guano has and you get lots of plant and no fruit. Stay with the compost you will be safe and I am sure you will be pleased. I got 300 pounds of tomatos last year from 31 plants.. I use compost mixture and fish emulsion only

Which formula is good for constipation and colic?

I am feeding my newborn who is about to be two months but the milk is not filling her up completely. She wants more and more and more all the time. So, my doctor told me to supplement the feeding by adding some formula- I gave her Infamil and newborn regular kind (powder). She quickly stopped having bowel movements, the only way she would have one was with a suppository the doctor prescribed. The longest she went without a bowel movement was 5 days and she was extremely fussy and uncomfortable. So then I tried Similac Advance (concentrated)- and had the same results, constipated, uncomfortable and no bowel movements unless I added a suppository or one time I actually checked her temperature rectally and she had a bowel movement. So, I returned to the doctor and they decide to take her off the formula and strictly feed. She is now waking up every second and keeps asking for more and more. I think the milk is just not filling her up once again. I really don't know which formula to try and the doctor doesn't want me to give her any formula because of this problem, but regardless when I return to work in a couple months she will need to be put on a formula. Please HELP!!! I am DESPERATE! :(

Why do most MLS games on TV overun the allotted time?

When ESPN , FoxSports televise 'live' games from Europe on North American TV, the games always finish within the 2 hour time frame allotted (unless it's a cup game with extra-time or penalties possible). However, when they broadcast 'live' MLS games, none of them ever finish in the two hours allowed, meaning the next scheduled programme never starts on time.....if this is down to the ever-increasing number of commercials....why don't the networks simply add an extra 15 or 30 minutes to the time?

Why Am i always tiyed?

Im 16 female.Im always really,really tiyed,But i have been having problems with bad-dreams at night if im asleep or awake.The once awake are worse,They always bad once where Men are coming to get me & hurt me. I hear men vocies too sometimes.Its scary,it makes me scared to do anything like if im in bed im certion theres someone in bathroom or on landing even though my bedroom doors open & landing lights on so i wont get out of bed even if i need toilet. rear ends have a pinion bearing,, where your drive shaft connects to the rear end, grab that driveshaft and try and go up and down and side to side with it.. tight? if so then all good,, loose the your pinion bearing bad,,, do this at the back of the transmission too where the driveshjaft goes in the trans,, push up and down and left and right,, does it have travel,, is there leaks at either seal,, this would tell u the bearing at theat end is going bad,, also vibration could be caused by bad ujoints,, the things that connect the driveshaft to the part the goes in the trans or to the rear diff,, same thing, push up and down left and right and also twist,, if no play your good,, where did u hear the clanking noise,,?, from the rearend or trans or? update here or message me or email me and ill try and help ya figure it out,,,Art

If you want a thicker gauge for lower tuned playing, or even thinner ones, take it back to guitar center and ask them to 'set it up' for you, they will adjust the action an some other things for you to make it sound right and reduce fret buzz.

Pulling an all nighter to adjust my sleep pattern?

First off I'd like to welcome you to the club CONGRATS! I am in the same situation, but I could actually go 2 or 3 days without sleeping, I dunno why but I just can't fall asleep anyway I tried the whole all nighter thing until it was an appropriate time for me to sleep but it didn't work, I just ended up sleeping till very late because my body was so tired and then I couldn't sleep at night because I felt fully rested, so nope it doesn't always work! I went to the doctor and he gave me 10 prescription sedatives to get my sleeping pattern in order but then when I was all out, I couldn't sleep without them....if you figure it out let me know please...I know it's a horrible thing to go through!

I have a audio problem!?

My computer has a problem. It doesn't have ANY sound! I was in the middle of a program and it suddenly didn't have any sound. Can anyone help me figure out this dream?

So the dream started out with me being in a war. My gun didn't work and every time I aimed it misfired. I was shot by many enemy soldiers but there was this one person who shot me several times and every time he seemed to shoot me from an unexpected location so there was always the element of surprise. Like there was this one time I was taking shelter behind a car and all of a sudden he turns out to be inside the car. Despite the pain I still kept fighting and after the war was over I pulled up my shirt to look at the wounds but only had superficial ones...nothing actually d my skin. When I arrived at the safe house this person who shot me multiple times was lying on the ground dying and somehow (though it doesn't really make sense) that person turned out to be on my side and I felt really sorry for him. Now this is the part where it gets weird: I made a pact with the sea (yes the sea) to take me and heal the wounded (including that person). So the dream scene changed and I was standing in the water. I swam further out and all of a sudden I felt this irresistible pull and the waves came over me and I didn't really try to escape because it was kind of peaceful. I wasn't suffocating or struggling for air or anything like that it was kind of like going to sleep and when I was just about an inch close to death the dream scene changed again and I saw my mother. Of course I couldn't tell her about what I was trying to do but somehow without really knowing it she had made the whole thing stop. The weird thing is I wanted to go back because it felt so peaceful and for the rest of the dream I was trying to find my way back to the sea but couldn't. Now that's one hell of a strange dream and any attempts at interpreting it for me would be much appreciated!

I am a married, mother of two little girls 4 and 2 yrs. I am weighing my options of furthering my career; Right now i am in a LVN/LPN school and only have one more semester left to be certified. I was considering joining the military since i was 18 ( now 25) and someone suggested joining ROTC which would help provide not only the GREAT experience, but the financial end of schooling. Is being a cop in a small town more dangerous than crossing a street?

I've lived here for 12 years and in that time I've heard nothing at all about any cops being killed in the line of duty. I have however heard about 3 stories of people being killed while crossing the streets in this area. Most cops and cop apoligist rant all the time about they are "putting their lives on the line" and doing a service. This may be more true in heavily populated areas but not here. I would just like to thank all the brave people in this town who cross streets without a second thought of the danger involved. I think they should get free doughnuts at the local coffee shop for their bravery.

First off, let me say that I totally feel for you. As for now, if you are that weak, I say get to the hospital now. Anemia is nothing to play with , so if you feel that crappy, you should really be treated. the lowest my hbg has been is 7.4, and i had NO idea that it was that low. Anyhow, it takes a while for your levels to get to normal. Increase your iron intake in your diet instead of just taking the pills. I hope this helps a little bit

I'm in CA and I don't know if it's different in other states but here the answer is yes at least it was for me anyways. When I switched from feeding and formula feeding to just formula feeding I only received formula checks. I did also get checks for myself for about six months postpartum.
